After the couscous is cooked you can add pretty much add anything to it. Treat the couscous as you would pasta (which it is) or rice, building the dish with your own preference of flavours.


  • 1x box couscous
  • Vegetable or chicken/beef stock
  • Moroccan spices
  • 1x clove minced garlic
  • Shallots (as many as you want)
  • Raisins (as many as you want)
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • A dash of olive oil
  • Can of chickpeas
  • Small cherry tomatoes cut into small pieces
  • Lebanese cucumber


    • Cook the couscous as per the instructions on the box.
    • Use the stock to cook the couscous in.
    • After it is cooked then add the other ingredients.
