Drive the Northern Rivers New South Wales and Southern Queensland border area

More information on the Northern Rivers.

Out&About with Dayv has a poke around the splendid countryside of Northern New South Wales and Southern Queensland border area.

Follow Dayv’s route with turn-by-turn directions and points of note as he traverses the Summerland Way from Wiangaree (just north of Kyogle, NSW).   Dayv takes the Grady’s Creek Road to join up with the Lions Road near Cougal, then onto Running Creek Road in Queensland Scenic Rim to finish the journey at Beaudesert (Bowie).

Do the trip in reverse

Of course, you can do the reverse trip, but the distances and notes will have to be read accordingly. Also, there are limited photographs included here because, sometimes, the journey is the biggest part of it.

The Northern Rivers and beyond

So, come on out and enjoy what we have around us and camp and travel as much as you can. After all, it’s not that far away from Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Tweed area of NSW. Why not add a day or two onto your next trip?

Follow the link below to drive Dayv’s one day trip.  It’s better than a GPS.

Camping in the Northern Rivers – could you ask for more

Grafton, Yamba and all the other towns and bigger towns in the area take you back to a time when life was just a little slower.  People in the country make time to talk and if you ask them, they’ll even tell you the best spots to check out.
