Out & About with Dayv, Camping & Travel Videos
Dayv here, g’day mate! You know for an older fella, I consider myself a bit of a techie with all the new gadgets available today. I’ve mastered quite a few of them, which is how I’ve been able to snap the great photos you see on my site, and record all the videos (featured on my YouTube Channel) below. I’m certainly one that loves the history of the land I travel, but I’m not adverse to learning new ways and techniques of doing things.
So why not check out my video’s below (best viewed via YouTube), and post a comment or follow me.
The Chatter Of The Australian Bush
After a long day on the road, we were set to get the BBQ on and take in the sounds of the Australian bush. Little did we realize we had taken a spot near a family of Apostles – a bird unique to Australia.
Coochiemuldo Island, Redlands Coast
Out&About with Dayv takes a day trip to the island. After getting off the ferry across from the mainland you instantly feel at one with nature.
Caravan Maintenance
Pop-top maintenance. During my usual “safety inspection” I realised my struts needed some attention. Some maintenance requires an expert and other things can be handled quickly and easily by yourself. Watch how Dayv does it.
Caravan Park & Camping Areas
Lake Keepit in NSW is a great place to spend some time. The lake which at the time of writing is very low in water, has exposed some very interesting Australian history.
How Life Was Before Running Water
Australia can be a harsh country. Without water nothing lives, but with the rain comes new life. Lake Keepit in NSW is drying up. However, with this dry spell, some history has been uncovered. The original homestead of the area has been kept silent beneath the water until this dry spell kicked in. Now – until the water levels rise again, you can immerse yourself in history. The old well is well preserved giving you a peak into how was before running water.

Travelling The Lions Road Between QLD & NSW
A drive-through visit to Lions Road and the Border Loop Railway Lookout in northern New South Wales, Australia.
